Some Technical Information on our Wood Fired Burners

  • Stainless steel inner and outer construction.

  • 304 grade stainless steel as standard – 316 grades available upon request.

  • Internal jacket and built in stainless steel heat exchanger both providing fast heat transfer in a short time span.

  • Large firebox: You can put 1.2m length logs in the fire box and load between 75 to 80 kg of logs at a time.

  • Hydrostatic pressure tested (2 Kg Cm²).

  • Energy efficient 25mm think Cerawool thermal insulation with 64 kg/m² density.

  • Insulation is covered by the stainless-steel casing with aluminum dish ends at either end.

  • Cast aluminum door with inspection window and wooden handle.

  • Cast iron grate in 3 pieces.

  • Ash tray: large size – 1,020mm length x 440mm width x 140mm depth.

  • Chimney (flue) pipe: Stainless steel – 2m height in 2 pieces

* Tests carried out on a sequence of one hour on a swimming pool whose volume of water was 40.6 m3 .

* Wood used was dry wattle.

* Moderate loading of the fireplace results in a minimum increase of more that 1 deg per hour.

So......

Our heating solution will heat the water in a 50 000 litre pool from 27 deg C to 34 deg C with a twelve hour burn.

What will the Wood Cost

Connecting the Heater to your pool. 

You connect it directly to your Pump / Filtration System ... possibly with a simple bypass valve.
